Adopt an Orangutan
Why adopt an orangutan?
Orangutans are endangered and at risk of extinction. Hunting, the pet trade, trafficking and habitat destruction all mean hundreds of orangutan deaths every year.
With your help, we can change this. By adopting one of our orangutans, you can take comfort in knowing that they are being cared for around the clock. Our dedicated ‘nannies’ teach them what they need to know for when it’s time to release them back to the wild, in places not threatened by people.
Our orangutan adoptions are ongoing and are available via annual or monthly recurring payments. You may cancel or change your adoption at any time by advising us at contact@orangutans.com.au. Adoptions are tax-deductible and you will receive a tax summary at the end of each financial year.

Some of our orangutans are featured in the docu-series Orangutan Jungle School, currently available to stream on YouTube in Australia.
